SUMMER CLEANING

With boxes all over my living room and dirty hairy cat stairs I decided I should clean my apartment today. I can't really rememeber the last time I actually cleaned my place but it was in dire need.
Cranked up some Radio Head on my computer and started downstairs with the VC (Vacuum Cleaner) My cat will probably be pissed that I recycled all of his boxes that he likes to drive me crazy with but I he'll live.
I next tackled vacuuming the stairs. If you don't have stairs with carpet you're luck. It's not that it's hard it's just a pain in the ass.
Next came my room. I went through a bunch of crap in my closet and started throwing away the shit that I didn't use or no longer need. The picture below was never used by me. It was one of the many items that Zeb left when he moved to Bozeman. On a side note does anyone need an extra flat tire/broken rim? I'm thinking of throwing away this dumb tv stand/old computer desk that I just store more shit on. When I start my 2nd half of my cleaning (Sunday hopefully) I'll have to move all the junk from the tvtable/desk.
Next on my agenda is to clean my upstairs bathroom and the other room that stores boxes and my plants. For now I'm off to go eat some delicious Mexican food

Today the Dodgers traded for a future hall of fame player in Manny Ramirez. All they had to do is trade future stud Andy LaRoche. I assume we'll have Dewitt play 3rd next year so hopefully he will do well.

My take on the trade. If we make the playoffs then the trade is good. If not then it sucks.

ESPN says Baseball Tonight is in but instead it's Tulsa vs some community college. First of all Football should never be on tv instead of baseball. It's even worse it's Tulsa vs Linn Benton Community College.

In other news the Dodgers finally pulled their heads from their collective asses and have won 7 of their last 10 and are on a 4 game win streak. Tomko was DFA'ed while David Wells was picked up which raises our average weight per player to 240lbs. They have tonight off then they're off to San Diego to play the Padres for 3 games.

So last night the power went out at about 7:30. Chuck was sleeping at the time. When he woke up we sat in the dark for a while until he decided to goto some broads ( more than one i don't know what the plural for broads maby broads'???) house to play some board games. I decided to play some sodoku on my Nintendo ds. About 9:20 rolls around with still no power so I hit the sack hopping there would be power in the morning to take a shower. So around 5:20 I was awake trying to see if the power was back on just lying in my bed when i hear my fridge start making noises. I then realized that my power was back on. It hit hard. Oh and to top it off I fucking missed The Office last night!!!!!!!!!!!!

After comming back in the 9th off the Giants last night Maddux and Co came out ballin and won 4-2 in Candlesti.. I mean pac bell park. Meanwhile the Padres won their game vs the Diamondbacks securing a playoff berth. Hopefully the dbacks wont suck ass tomorrow and they'll beat the padres and the dodgers can sweep the giants so we can have sole possesion of first. I rather play the cards but I aint scurred of the Mets.

I finally get a vacation

Well on Wednesday October 11th Im going to Bozeman to visit Zeb and Heather. I have 120 hours of Vacation and I need to use up 40 hours of it or it goes to waste. I will be returing on the 15. I depart from Eugene and fly to SanFransicso where I will be sporting my dodgers hat. I've been there before when I went to LA about 10 years ago. From SanFrancisco I'll be going to Denver then to Bozeman. On the way home I only have to stop in Denver then on to Eugene.

The dodgers were down 4 in the bottom of the 9th inning when they decided that they needed to win the game. Jeff Kent and J.D Drew hit back to back jacks against some jobber Padre reliver. The Pads brought in their hall of fame reliver Trevor Hoffman who has saved 20 some odd in a row. My boy Russ Martin the first pitch in the the cheap seats then Marlon Anderson who we picked up from the nats ( who also went 5-5 in the game) hit the 4th home run in a row sending the game in the extra innings. Aaron Sele then came in to pitch the 10th and wanted to make the game a little more interesting than it already has been gave up a run in the 10th. Bottom of the 10th Rudy "I got canned by the redsox" Saenez came in to pitch for the padres. Lofton got a leadoff walk when Nomar came up. 3-1 count and Nomar hits one where only the mexicans and the little leaguers get tickets at and the Dodgers are in First place again going into the final 2 weeks of the season.

So I was at winco yesterday during lunch looking for some peanut butter m&m's when I came across these. Yes those are DILL PICKLE flavored seeds. Im not really sure if I like these better than the Ranch or the original non Jalapeno Salsa flavors but they're pretty good.
