With boxes all over my living room and dirty hairy cat stairs I decided I should clean my apartment today. I can't really rememeber the last time I actually cleaned my place but it was in dire need.
Cranked up some Radio Head on my computer and started downstairs with the VC (Vacuum Cleaner) My cat will probably be pissed that I recycled all of his boxes that he likes to drive me crazy with but I he'll live.
I next tackled vacuuming the stairs. If you don't have stairs with carpet you're luck. It's not that it's hard it's just a pain in the ass.
Next came my room. I went through a bunch of crap in my closet and started throwing away the shit that I didn't use or no longer need. The picture below was never used by me. It was one of the many items that Zeb left when he moved to Bozeman. On a side note does anyone need an extra flat tire/broken rim? I'm thinking of throwing away this dumb tv stand/old computer desk that I just store more shit on. When I start my 2nd half of my cleaning (Sunday hopefully) I'll have to move all the junk from the tvtable/desk.
Next on my agenda is to clean my upstairs bathroom and the other room that stores boxes and my plants. For now I'm off to go eat some delicious Mexican food

Dodgers 2-0 in games Manny Ramirez hits a HR

8-for-13 2 home runs with five RBIs in three games

His old number 24 is retired by the Dodgers. Don't ask me why he's wearing 99 though.
I just read this off of yahoo sports

Ramirez wore No. 99, not to honor Barbara Feldon or Anne Hathaway or Mitch “Wild Thing” Williams or Turk Wendell or even reprise Wayne Gretzky wearing 99 for the L.A. Kings two decades ago. Ramirez couldn’t have the number he wore in Boston, 24, because it was Walter Alston’s and is retired. Then he asked for 30 but missed it by a week because newly acquired third baseman Casey Blake grabbed it. His next choice was 34, but that was worn by Fernando Valenzuela and, while it isn’t retired, it might as well be. So he said he didn’t care, and the Dodgers gave him 99.

By the time he decided on something else, it was too late. The Los Angeles Dodgers already were cranking out Manny 99 jerseys, expecting to sell plenty to the 30,000 fans who bought tickets to games this weekend since the trade.

“Ninety-nine is fine,” he said. “I’ll stay with it.”

Dodgers get a needed bat

Today the Dodgers traded for a future hall of fame player in Manny Ramirez. All they had to do is trade future stud Andy LaRoche. I assume we'll have Dewitt play 3rd next year so hopefully he will do well.

My take on the trade. If we make the playoffs then the trade is good. If not then it sucks.
